During my time at NBC News, I was able to work with a group of interns on developing a trivia game for the NBC News app. As the product manager, I was in charge of scoping the problem space and understanding what we wanted to incorporate into our game to make it stand out.

During my time at NBC News, I was a product management intern on the mobile experiences team. Here, I was able to get a thorough and in depth understanding of the product lifecycle of digital products, particularly the NBC News Mobile App. This allowed me a glimpse into the world of media and entertainment as well, helping define and create user experiences that could increase user engagement throughout different parts of the app. In particular, I was a part of helping create new layouts for the mobile application for the editorial team, as well as redesigning the watching experience within the current app. I also had the pleasure of leading an intern team to explore gaming within the NBC News app, particularly around trivia.

• Worked alongside developers, designers, and other stakeholders to assess Q3 needs and KPIs for the NBC News mobile app

• Led an intern project for the development of gaming within the NBC News app and presented to various stakeholders and executives

• Assisted in increasing content discovery and redesigning the watching experience

• Conducted user research, created user flows, journey maps, and other artifacts too assess ways of increasing user engagement throughout all projects

Gaming provides ways an interesting and fun way for users to engage with content, forming habits that can be reinforced daily, therefore, there was an opportunity to explore this further. Below is a recap of the experience, the goals of the project, and our outcomes.
